St. David’s Heritage Day Festival
Celebrate Canadian Heritage at St. David’s Lions Club Park where you’ll enjoy the Fort George Fife and Drum Corp, a lively First Nations Opening and the warm welcome of local politicians.
Spend the day shopping and exploring a diverse array of goods, all in one convenient location. This event welcomes numerous vendors who specialize in flavour, fashion and unique souvenirs for the whole family. During the Festival, you’ll also have the opportunity to take part in a historic walking tour and participate in a silent auction that pays a special ode to all things Canadian.

Doors open in Niagara-on-the-Lake

Snow Birds take flight at Niagara Airport
The Canadian Forces Snow Birds show is a treat for the whole family. Guests of all ages will be wowed by the Snowbirds’ incredible aerobatics, which combines incredible skill with inspiring patriotism. The experience includes entertainment and educational aircraft displays, as well as the awe-inspiring performance of our Canadian Forces expert pilots.
Please note this event is dependent on the weather, so keep an eye on the forecast before making your way to watch these pilots soar over Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Grand Canadian Steampunk Exposition
This annual festival is a history lover’s dream! Travel back in time to 19th century Fort where you’ll be delighted by amazing performances inspired by The Birth of Flight, a play on the classic movie “Those Magnificent Men and Their Flying Machines.”
If you don’t know what Steampunk is – you’re missing out! Steampunk incorporates science fiction, technology and aesthetics that are inspired by the 19th-century industrial steam engine. Take in the vintage sites, interesting vendors and wonderful workshops that will inform you about Niagara’s history in a way that entertains every attendee.

Run for the Grapes Half Marathon and 5k
Support the Heart and Stroke Foundation while taking in Niagara’s natural beauty. Choose the distance you are most comfortable with, and then get ready for a race you will never forget. Racers will get to run alongside some of the region’s most beautiful orchards, so it won’t even feel like hard work. Feel great about supporting a worthy cause, while treating yourself to a fast-paced tour of wine country.
