Ten years of success, a decade long friendship, a ten year milestone, a ten year wedding anniversary, many people openly shared their decade of memories with Vintage Hotels in the company’s 10th anniversary contest. Over the last decade, Vintage Hotels has become the standard for elegance and sophistication in the Niagara region, welcoming through their doors royalty, celebrities and thousands of visitors from around the globe.
In 2007, Vintage Hotels celebrates ten years of being Niagara’s leader in luxury hospitality. The hotel group will also celebrate another major milestone for the Niagara-on-the-Lake community: the 50th year since canning facility Factory 13 began its transformation into Ontario’s only five-star country inn, Pillar and Post.
Employees of Vintage Hotels slipped into bowling shirts and shoes on February 17 and 24, 2007 to support their local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada (BBBSC). Participation in BBBSC’s nationwide Bowl-for-Kids Sake event represented the first step in the Niagara hotel group’s recently launched multi-tiered program charitable program to help Canada’s leading child and youth serving organization meet its fundraising goals.
With multiple hotel properties in the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Vintage Hotels faces a distinct challenge during the holiday season: how to decorate three different properties to accurately reflect their distinct style and ambiance?
“What makes our hotels so unique is that we have our very own décor department on hand all year round,” says Lorraine Zalepa, Manager of Decorating for Vintage Hotels, who manages the department. “During the holidays, we are always adding new Christmas trees somewhere, including smaller trees in guest rooms as many guest love to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with us.”
The Purple Feet People will be popping up across the GTA to celebrate the many attractions of Wine Country, in a new multi-media campaign from Vintage Hotels in co-operation with Dentsu Canada. The campaign, which includes billboards, cinema advertising, print, radio and promotions, features images of people purple to the knees in freshly stomped grape juice, enjoying a lavish Vintage experience.
On Friday, August 11th Vintage Hotels will unveil a new billboard at the busy Yonge & Sheppard intersection. The marketing effort which is slated to take place between 4 and 7 p.m. will see The Purple Feet People, clad in Vintage Hotels robes, parading the streets circulating information about Vintage Hotel’s Get Going Canada
